Family class trips for first-timers begin June 1st and run through August
31st. These trips provide a gentle, low-risk introduction to rafting
for the whole family. For the more adventurous type the Cheat canyon
offers more thrills and excitement.
Choice of trips include:
the Cheat Narrows (moderate skill level), or the Cheat Canyon (advanced
skill level).

The Cheat Canyon
The canyon is the largest
uncontrolled watershed in the Eastern United States. The Cheat River
brings huge, world-class whitewater with the advent of spring rains and the
spring snow melt. Cheat Canyon is 13 miles of breathtaking beauty and
class III - V rapids. Canyon trips leave directly from the visitors
center and take you right into the narrow, steep walled canyon where the
rapids are fast and intense.

The Cheat Narrows
This crystal clear,
free-flowing river is full of massive boulders and jumping rocks is superb
for family river trips, with it's swimming holes and riverside picnic area,
and gives the first-timer a feel for the excitement and satisfaction of
paddling that rivers of West Virginia. An exciting and moderate trip
providing a great ride for nearly all ages and skill levels.

ahead and make your reservations well in advance.... |

Cancellation Policy:
Within 10 days of your reservation, confirmation is required with a
non-refundable deposit of $10 per person per day, with the balance being due
45 days prior to your trip date. If you are making a reservation less
than 45 days in advance of your date, you will be required to make full
payment upon placing your reservation. |
